Reflections on 2023…

Reflections on the past year

Happy New Year!

We are so grateful for your ongoing support, generosity and kindness. Without you all liking, sharing and commenting we would would not be able to reach the number of people we do and therefore not find the amazing homes we have! Your continuous donations of food, money and supplies are what keep us going and ensure we can help the number of animals that we do.

2023 has been both amazing and heartbreaking, we’ve successfully found wonderful homes for 152 cats and 25 dogs as well as rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs and the occasional reptile! However, the loss of our amazing co founder and close friend Becky Banning has come as a huge blow both to the rescue and to us personally. Becky’s spirit and dedication will live on within the rescue and she will forever have a special place in our hearts.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a special thank you to our amazing admin team, who put in countless hours ensuring the rescue runs smoothly, as well as our amazing current and past foster carers! We couldn’t support all these animals without you, through the highs and lows that come from fostering, we really appreciate the dedication and care you provide for the animals

We would also like to thank the following for their ongoing support and generosity:

Tails of Wales Dog Photography

All Positive Dog Services - Behaviour & Training Centre

Leominster Pet Centre

Hay And Brecon Farmers Ltd

We cannot wait to see what 2024 holds and we know with your support the rescue will grow from strength to strength!

Thank you for your support, kindness and generosity,

Becky Tinson & India Attwood (trustees) xx
